Robert Wandold McDonald flew fighters, aerial tankers and transports in his more than 35 years in the cockpit. Bob McDonald was the epitome of the citizen soldier as he performed a very successful natural gas business career at the same time he excelled in his long military adventure, 41 years in the blue uniform and baggy greenish flight suit.

There is nothing in his honorable life that should be or would be edited out. The author has known and respected him for over 60 years. Bob McDonald is an honorable man.
